The RLSS have a developed this progressive, RLSS Water Safety Management Programme, a modular programme to be tailored to the organisation's or individual requirements. This two day course has been designed with UK and overseas expedition and fieldwork leaders in mind to give them the skills to manage group water safety around a variety of environments.
The first morning covers the theory of water safety awareness in a classroom and builds on the self study module you will have completed before the course. These skills are then developed in practical sessions at a swimming pool or nearby water location the afternoon of day 1. The second day takes these skills further afield with visits and practical sessions in river, still water and a beach environment.
This Royal Life Saving Society (RLSS UK) certified National Water Safety Management Programme can cover the levels 1-3. On open course, all levels will be taught, you choose which you need certification or recertification in. For further details on the programme please see the RLSS website here or contact us direct.
Note this course can be run as bespoke tailored course for an organisation. Please get in contact for more information.
